Steve became a partner with Davis & Associates, CPA's in 2010. He has over 28 years of experience, including five years as President and CFO of  privately held businesses in the transportation and manufacturing areas, and the balance in public accounting.  He has brought with him staff and clients from his accounting practices in Fort Myers and Naples, Florida. Steve holds a CPA certificate in Florida and Ohio.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting; Magna Cum Laude from the University of Akron.

He was a practicing Certified Public Accountant with firms in the Cleveland Ohio area until his move to Naples in 2009. During his career in public accounting, Steve has served numerous clients in industries such as construction, transportation, manufacturing, retail, real estate, and international consolidated groups. He also has experience in forensic accounting engagements including calculating lost profits on business interruption claims and valuing losses in the case of employee theft. In addition to audit, accounting, and tax services, Steve has provided management advisory services ranging from on-site controllership assistance, contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, executive bonus plans, succession planning, buy-sell agreements, budgeting, forecasting, systems analysis, and various other services focusing on maximizing the client's "bottom line". Having spent time as both an advisor to and President/CFO of closely-held businesses, Steve has the background to put himself in the client's shoes with respect to approaching consulting services in order to maximize the value added.
