Love Thy Neighbor

In 2006, John Davis reflected on how to share with his children the value of “giving back to the community in appreciation for all the blessings God has given us.”

John wanted to leave a legacy to his future generations, which stated that helping others in life should be paramount in our own lives. He wanted to provide a financial vehicle that would last for generations with which to help those in need in times of hardship, disaster or a life challenge. With this desire and passion, John Davis' foundation was born and aptly named, Love Thy Neighbor Foundation, Inc. (LTN).

Being the managing and founding partner of Davis & Associates CPA's, John has been able to showcase and share LTN in the workforce. Since the foundation is based primarily as a family venture, John and his wife Peggy Davis and children John and Julie Davis, Justin and Susan Peterson and Michelle Davis compose the official board of LTN.

Since its beginning, LTN has helped people in personal disaster situations, families who experienced the hardship of a sudden death causing financial difficulty, the family of a U.S. Marine while he was deployed overseas and countless others. They are all listed on the website at

LTN is dedicated to keeping its financial strength by various fundraisers which were spearheaded by Susan, resulting in donations which enriched the growth of LTN to better help others. Due to John's passion about helping the community, the majority of the foundation's resources are contributed by John Davis.

At present, LTN would like to focus on the current hardships that Hurricane Irma inflicted on so many in Southwest Florida, including Bonita Springs. The devastation from flooding and severe winds has left many homeless, defeated, tired and frightened. LTN is here to help and let these people know that all is not lost. Support, caring and heartfelt efforts are needed to help rebuild homes and lives.

For those who would welcome the assistance that LTN and Davis & Associates can offer, please visit and complete the application. In addition, anyone who would like to contribute and help others through the foundation may send their tax deductible donation to John Davis at 28901 Trails Edge Blvd. Suite 205, Bonita Springs, FL 34134 and mark “Hurricane Irma” in the memo section. Checks should be made payable to Love Thy Neighbor Foundation, Inc.

Together, we can help rebuild Southwest Florida.
